Embraer E2 Engine Run-up and Taxi Training

For troubleshooting purposes or after certain maintenance work, engine test runs must also be performed on the E2. In addition to simple leak runs at low power, so-called high-power runs or runs with rapidly changing speeds are often necessary. Due to the extended simulation possibilities of various faults, the new E2 simulator offers the possibility to train all standard procedures, but also the fast and correct reaction to a very large selection of suddenly occurring faults.
Especially the taxi part of the training can be customized due to the large options of simulated airport locations available for the training, enabling a familiar environment for the students. Furthermore, because of the excellent graphics and refined motion, the training has become much more realistic.
Overall, the new E2 simulator enables a significantly increased training quality also in the training of aircraft technicians.
