Difference Course E1 to E2 - for Pilots
Horizon offers a difference course for type rated pilots on the Embraer ERJ190-100 (E1) to ERJ190-300 (E2). The difference course is provided under the ATO of Helvetic Airways according to FCL.710. and is instructed by Helvetic Airways instructors, which actively fly both variants. Helvetic Airways has extensive experience in the difference training as they have trained all of their pilots in 2019 through 2021 in conjunction with the fleet roll-over from E1 to E2.
Prerequisites
Prerequisites:
- Current and valid EASA frozen ATPL and Class 1 medical
- Valid EMB170 license entry
- Recent on ERJ190-100 (i.e. 3 T/O and LDGs within 90 days)
- Shall be current on the ERJ190-100 for CAT II/III Autoland
Programme
Duration: 7 Days
Location: Kloten, Zurich
The course duration is 7 training days and is conducted as follows:
- FMS-NG (avionics load 27.1): distance learning
- Theoretical difference course (classroom)
- 4 hrs FTD E2 training session
- 4 hrs FFS E2 training session
- E2 Safety Training
- On-site aircraft pre-flight inspection training
The course is conducted in crew compositions of 2 pilots, however an assisting pilot can be provided for a single pilot course.
