Commercial Pilot Licence - CPL (H)
The EASA Commercial Pilot Licence - CPL (H) allows the holder to act as pilot in command of a helicopter and receive remuneration. The licence is recognized in European Airspace with EASA registered helicopters. The licence is valid across Europe and only has to be validated in non-EASA countries. A commercial pilot may carry passengers as long as the pilot has the appropriate training, ratings, and endorsements.
Horizon Swiss Flight Academy offers theoretical training for helicopters, all courses are offered via distance learning.
Duration
The theoretical training for the CPL (H) lasts between 4-8 months.

The CPL (H) theory as stand alone module starts from CHF 3'500.00.
Further Training Opportunities
The Commercial Pilot Licence serves as pre-requisite for many further training opportunities. You may opt for an Airline Pilot Licence. Additionally a Class Rating or an Instrument Rating can be obtained.
