Aptitude Test ACP
The assessment for the Airline Cadet Programme and for practical training (CPL / IR / MEP) is divided into three parts:
- Proof of language proficiency:
The prerequisite for the aptitude test is an English level of CEFR Level B2 or higher. If you already have a valid certificate (e.g. Cambridge First), you can upload this document with your registration.
For people without a certificate, there is the possibility to take an external English test to assess your knowledge up until the end of the exams. You will receive further information regarding the test after your registration.
For native English speakers, a certificate of completion from an English-speaking school (high school, IB, or A-levels) or university (Bachelor) is also accepted. The relevant certificates or diplomas must also be uploaded at the time of registration for the aptitude test.
- Online-Tests:
The test is a multiple-choice test covering fundamental knowledge of physics, mathematics and trigonometry in accordance with EASA Part FCL.
- On-site exams in Kloten:
On site, you will take a computer-based test, the HUPEX (HUman Potential EXplorer). This test assesses your ability to deal with complex systems, your decision-making skills and your resistance to stress. You will also complete a psychological questionnaire, which will then be used to create a personality profile.
Candidates with existing EASA PPL(A) are requested to upload their license below. These candidates will also undergo an on-site PPL Theory Test.
The date for the on-site examinations will be coordinated after the registration.
