IR MEP DA42 Practical Training
Prerequisites
- PPL (A) or higher, Night VFR (NIT)
- 50 hours cross country aeroplane/helicopter, of which 10 hours minimum in aeroplanes
- Valid Class Rating Multi Engine Piston VFR (MEP), Single Pilot SPA
- Valid Medical Class 1 or 2 (“IR checked”)
- Successfully passed IR theoretical examination
- IFR Communications passed
- Language Proficiency Requirement (LPR) endorsement Level 4 or higher
Horizon SFA IR(A) DA42 Training Package
- DA42/G1000 Ground Course
- RNAV certificate (theoretical and practical training)
- 40 hours training DA42 simulator FNPT II
- 15 hours flight training on DA42 aircraft
- 10 hours ELITE G1000 trainer
- Training programme divided according EASA Part-FCL:
- Basic Instrument Flight Module (5 hours FNPT II, 5 hours aircraft)
- Procedural Instrument Flight Module (35 hours FNPT II, 10 hours aircraft)
