Aptitude Test Theory
The assessment for theory courses (CPL / IR / ATPL) is divided into two parts.
- Proof of language proficiency:
The prerequisite for the aptitude test is an English level of CEFR Level B2 or higher. If you already have a valid certificate (e.g. Cambridge First), you can upload this document with your registration.
For people without a certificate, there is the possibility to take an external English test to assess your knowledge up until the end of the exams. You will receive further information regarding the test after your registration.
For native English speakers, a certificate of completion from an English-speaking school (high school, IB, or A-levels) or university (Bachelor) is also accepted. If you have previous flying experience, an ICAO LPC Level 6 will also count as proof. The relevant certificates or diplomas must also be uploaded at the time of registration for the aptitude test.
- Online-Tests:
The test is a multiple-choice test covering fundamental knowledge of physics, mathematics and trigonometry in accordance with EASA Part FCL. You can complete the examination on your own schedule and independently.
