Flugschule Basel becomes a partner flight school of Horizon SFA
The existing cooperation between Flugschule Basel and Horizon Swiss Flight Academy, which already existed in the area of theoretical training, will be further extended. In future, Horizon SFA's students will be able to complete part of their training in the Airline Pilot Cadet Programme at the EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Fribourg.
FSB is one of the largest flight schools in Switzerland and the largest in the tri-border region of Switzerland, Germany and France. It is an ATO (Approved Training Organisation), thus certified by the Federal Office of Civil Aviation according to EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency). The flight school has been training pilots since 1967. The fleet consists of a total of 9 aircraft, including various Piper and Tecnam models. In addition, the flight school has its own maintenance facility, which is available for both its own and third-party aircraft.
